KEMP Technologies Joins Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance
KEMP Technologies has joined the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance, reinforcing its commitment to deliver integrated solutions to customers requiring a more streamlined approach for accessing both private and cloud-based applications.
The announcement coincides with the firm's general availability launch of a new plugin for its System Center Virtual Machine Manager (SCVMM), which delivers simplified deployment and management of application delivery services.
The new availability of the LoadMaster plugin allows administrators of cloud infrastructures to make use of KEMP load balancer technology within the SCVMM, further streamlining the application deployment process.
Known as SCVMM Service Templates, this technology helps to reduce the time to market for business critical applications by deploying and managing each application as a single entity within a virtual environment and reducing administration costs.
With the help of these LoadMaster services, customers can utilise a load balancer to scale and secure their internet application services including Microsoft Lync, Skype, Exchange, SharePoint and Microsoft-Azure workloads.
According to Jeff Fisher, KEMPs vice president of strategic alliances, the importance of scaling and automation within business is becoming increasingly important as customer move over to cloud delivery models.
Commenting on KEMP's ability to aid customers' means of speeding up their online deployment, he said: “KEMP’s SCVMM plug-in for LoadMaster benefits organisations by leveraging the management capabilities of Microsoft’s Enterprise cloud offerings and reflects KEMP’s commitment to Microsoft and driving cloud adoption.”
