Riverbed Recognised as ’Leader’ in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant

Riverbed Technology, a leader in application performance infrastructure and solutions, has announced that it has been recognised as a 'Leader' in Gartner Inc's 2015 'Magic Quadrant for Network Performance Monitoring and Diagnostics (NPMD)' for the second consecutive year.

According to Gartner, the Magic Leaders' Quadrant represents companies who are working to boost NPMD market growth, including those with comprehensive portfolios and the capabilities to manage multiple application and technology types.

Riverbed has also been recognised as a Leader in Gartner’s 2014 'Magic Quadrant for WAN Optimisation Controllers'.

Mike Sargent, senior vice president and general manager of the SteelCentral business unit at Riverbed, has suggested that Riverbed's network performance monitoring and diagnostics solutions are worthy of the Gartner title, providing hybrid businesses with control over end-user experience, application and network performance.

He continued: "Riverbed SteelCentral solutions deliver unparalleled breadth of visibility into application and network performance for both on-premise and SaaS applications and include comprehensive analytics and deep, fast troubleshooting capabilities to ensure applications perform as needed for the business.”

SteelCentral performance management solutions are part of the Riverbed Application Performance Platform, which provides CIOs with unparalleled visibility of their IT resources across their hybrid business.

According to Gartner, NPMD has emerged in recent years as a brand new market designed to address these new needs of today's increasingly complex businesses, providing the breadth and depth of visibility by uniquely analysing data and allowing them to deliver, control and optimise their resources.
